Sigma Kappa Fundraiser

March 24, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

On April 2, 2022 the Gamma Kappa chapter of Sigma Kappa will be holding our Violet
Gala, a philanthropic event benefiting the US POINTER Study funded by the Sigma
Kappa Foundation. We invite you to join us in our goal to raise $15,000 for the
Foundation, and bring us one step closer to making Alzheimer’s Disease a distant
memory. We greatly appreciate any support you can offer in the form of donations for
silent auction items, raffle baskets, monetary funds, or sponsorships.
Our biggest fundraiser of the year, this "purple tie" formal event will not be one to miss.
The Gala will be held at Route 51 Brewery just 15 minutes from campus, and will
include entertainment, a plated meal, and cash bar.
We also invite businesses to sponsor this event! The levels of sponsorship are as
follows:
 Violet Sponsor – $1,000 – Includes 15 event tickets with VIP seating, stage
acknowledgement, prominent logo on print media, name/logo on event
slideshow, and social media thank you
 Lavender Sponsor – $500 – Includes 8 event tickets, name/logo on print media,
0name/logo on event slideshow, and social media thank you
 Maroon Sponsor – $250 – Includes 4 event tickets, name/logo on event
slideshow, social media thank you
Over the past 37 years, the Sigma Kappa Foundation has raised over $10,000,000 for
Alzheimer's Disease research and support for those living with Alzheimer's Disease.
Currently, the Foundation is funding the U.S. POINTER study, a research study through
the Alzheimer's Association that explores whether healthy lifestyle choices protect
cognitive function in older adults who are at an increased risk for cognitive decline.
As a charitable organization, the Foundation has been classified as a 501(c)3
organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Therefore, donations are tax-deductible
as allowed by law. Please make checks payable to “Sigma Kappa Foundation.”
Please feel free to contact me at caitlyn.bartsch@siu.edu or (314)677-7010 with any
