The West Frankfort Redbirds stunned Nashville last Friday night 50-41 for their first win of the conference season and were named Team of the Week thanks to the big upset.  West Frankfort coach Josh Sertich talked with Matt Varney about the big win, rebuilding the program, and upcoming games for the Redbirds.

Carbondale boys basketball coach Jim Miller is ready to begin prowling the sidelines after retiring back in 2021.  He and the Terriers tip off the season tonight at the Roxana Hoopsgiving Classic vs. Bethalto Civic Memorial at 6pm.
