John A Logan baseball coach Kyle Suprenant joined the show Tuesday evening and talked with Mike Murphy about the team but also the improvements happening at Logan's baseball field:

The Crab Orchard Trojans started the season at 5-0 and have since increased that win total to 6-0.  It was an easy choice for the first Team of the Week of the basketball season.  Matt Varney visited with coach of the Trojans, Jon Brown and discussed the team:

The Du Quoin Indians were selected as the Team of the Week after a 28-14 win over Murphysboro that improved them to 5-4 on the season and earned them the 10 seed in the 3A Southern Bracket of the IHSA Playoffs.  Coach Derek Beard spoke with Matt Varney on the victory, earning a high seed for a 5-4 team, and their opponent in the first round: Carlinville
