The #4 John A. Logan Volunteers have begun a whirlwind final stretch as the season nears it's end.  The Vols picked up their 20th win of the season at Lake Land on Thursday in a 92-76 victory, just a night after a 74-64 win over Vincennes.  Coach Kyle Smithpeters talked about the win afterward:

Harrisburg Bulldogs head coach Matt Griffith talked with Matt Varney this afternoon about last week's big win at Carterville to clinch the Bulldogs' first postseason win since 2012.  They also discussed the highly anticipated game at Harrisburg, their first home playoff game since 2015, against Peoria Notre Dame this Saturday night at 5pm.

Saturday's SIU game is the annual Blackout Cancer game.  SIU coach Nick Hill spoke with media on Tuesday and discussed with Matt Varney the struggles his team has recently faced and how Illinois State poses a challenge this week.
