The Missouri Valley Conference is holding a two-day summer check-in teleconference with all 12 league coaches this week. On Monday, SIU coach Scott Nagy spoke to the media. Sesser-Valier-Waltonville co-head coach John Shadowens talked with Matt Varney on Thursday ahead of the Red Devils' huge Quarterfinals matchup this Saturday afternoon. It's the first time the Red Devils have reached the IHSA Quarterfinals since 1991. The pair discussed SVW's dominant offense and this weekend's huge game vs. Greenfield that the Red Devils will be hosting.
