Last week, Murphysboro coach Gary Carter met with the voice of the Red Devils, Matt Varney, to take a look at the upcoming 2023 football season. The Lady Vols opened the season at State Fair Community College last week going 0-2. Despite that, Coach Charlie Jones sees reason to be encouraged in his young team. He and star center Cheyenne Trotter joined Talkin Vols on Tuesday.
John A. Logan Baseball coach Kyle Surprenant joined Talkin Vols after his team won at Dyersburg State 16-4. That makes the #8 Vols 24-2 on the year and winners of 19 straight!
