After an 11-2 season and just the program's third semifinal appearance, the Murphysboro Red Devils were selected as the John A. Logan College Team of the Year. The Red Devils walked in to the year knowing they would have an elite defense but had question marks all over the offensive side of the ball. The #4 John A. Logan Volunteers have begun a whirlwind final stretch as the season nears it's end. The Vols picked up their 20th win of the season at Lake Land on Thursday in a 92-76 victory, just a night after a 74-64 win over Vincennes. Coach Kyle Smithpeters talked about the win afterward:
