Defending against hackers will be the goal of teams at this weekend’s Illinois Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.

A portion of the event will be held at SIU, with 10-teams competing from across the state.

The SIU Security Dawgs, as they are known, are seeking to take home a fourth state championship.

Also competing will be teams from John A. Logan and Kaskaskia Colleges.
