SIU still has openings for children needing dental services.

The University’s annual “Give Kids a Smile Day” is scheduled for this Friday.

The event is scheduled from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the SIU Carbondale Community Dental Center.

The program is for children ranging from infants to 14 year old who do not receive regular dental treatment nor have regular access to care.

Around 240 children have been served by this program in each of the last six years.
