Two people have been released from hospitals after suffering injuries due to two separate shootings in Cairo.

The victims were a child and a middle-age adult. Their identities have not been released.

The shootings occurred in the early morning hours on Saturday and Sunday on Cedar Street.

According to reports, the Cairo Police chief believes the shootings may be related.
