A Jonesboro man who was arrested for home invasion in late October and and was subsequently charged with meth manufacturing has been sentenced to prison time.

34-year old Byron Turner was sentenced to a total of 10 years in a state prison after pleading guilty to one Class X felony count of Home invasion, and one count of unlawful participation in meth manufacturing, which is a Class 1 felony.

Turner was arrested after forcibly entering a home on October 28th and punching a resident in the face. He was previously charged with meth manufacturing in July.
