Objections by prosecutors have led to the continuance of a murder trial in which a Johnston City woman was stabbed to death in 2013.

A motion by defense attorneys has given more time for 32-year old Tamara Williams of Johnston City to be evaluated so it can be determined whether or not Williams was insane at the time that Barbara Beers was murdered.

A status hearing is scheduled for January 11th.
