Two people were taken to a local hospital after a crash Tuesday morning on IL Rt. 166 in Williamson County.

According to the IL State Police, 25-year old Erica Cadle of Creal Springs and 63-year old Mary Jahnssen of Marion were hurt when one of the drivers was facing westbound while stopped at the intersection with Shed Church Road at 7:18 am. The other driver was heading northbound on Rt. 166 when the westbound driver proceeded through the intersection.

Due to dense fog, both drivers collided, causing major damage to both cars.

Cadle was charged with failure to yield at a T intersection.
