The IL Fraternal Order of Police has joined with other groups of police officers saying that citizens should boycott Quentin Tarantino’s films ffter comments surfaced at a demonstration in which Tarantino called police officers “murderers.”
According to KMOX, IL FOP President Chris Southwood said in a statement that Tarantino’s films glorify the violence that he claims to be against, that Tarantino’s comments were thoughtless and deliberately inflammatory, and that Tarantino owes an apology to all members of law enforcement.
