A new Carbondale fire chief has officially been named.
Chief Ted Lomax was declared the fire chief of Carbondale yesterday.
Lomax has been a Carbondale fire fighter since 1990 and the assistant fire chief for nine years.
Lomax will start his job as the chief on Monday, November 9th.
