Jefferson Co.-A  St. Charles teenager has been sentenced for a shooting that occurred in Mount Vernon on July 17th.

17 year old Devin Bruns was charged as an adult and pled guilty to armed violence in connection to the shooting of 40 year old Jerry Gill.

He was one of five people charged and is sentenced to 10 years in prison.

He will have 3 years of mandatory supervised release.
