A Marion man is dead after being hit by a car Wednesday evening.

The Williamson Co. Coroner’s Office says 54-year old Stephen Henry was crossing Route 13 when he was hit by a car in the eastbound lanes just before 7 pm.

Henry was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
