A Galatia woman was hospitalized after her car was hit by a train.

58-year old Tina Sloan was heading northbound on S. Main Cross Street at the intersection with Railway St. when the crash took place around 2:20 pm yesterday.

Sloan was cited for disobeying a railroad signal, and was taken to a local hospital.
