A Murphysboro man was hospitalized after a crash Saturday afternoon in Washington County.

According to the Illinois State Police, 42-year old Phillip Miller was driving his minivan westbound on IL Rt. 15 around 4 pm when he lost control of the vehicle around a curve, where it left the roadway and rolled multiple times before coming to a stop in a field.

Miller was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
