A Franklin County man has been charged with theft of government property.

A grand jury returned a two count indictment against Jean Bragg of West City.

Bragg was an employee for the Village of West City when the theft took place.

He’s accused of taking more than $10,000 worth of property.

Bragg is currently being held by the Franklin County Sheriff.
