Southern Illinois University is putting their search for a permanent chancellor on hold for now.
SIU announced yesterday they would pick an interim chancellor that would fill the position for two years.
They claim that this will help free President Randy Dunn from those types of responsibilities, therefore he can focus on things such as boosting enrollment, improving marketing and building international enrollment.
Dunn has been serving as both President and Chancellor since the passing of SIU’s interim Chancellor, Paul Sarvela.
