A 16 year old from Mounds could be charged as an adult for shooting a Mounds police officer last week.

 

At first, the teen was going to be charged with a two count delinquency position, but that wouldn’t technically be considered criminal charges.

 

If charged as an adult, the teen would be charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery.

 

The hearing to transfer the case to adult criminal court will be at 10am tomorrow.
