After spending all of the preseason with the Cincinnati Bengals, former SIU defensive back P.J. Jules was cut by the franchise yesterday.

They quickly offered Jules a spot on their practice squad; Jules agreed to the offer.

An NFL team is allowed a maximum of 16 practice squad members.

Jules had 13 total tackles in the preseason.  He also deflected one pass.
