MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – A 18-year-old is wanted for questioning regarding a shooting Monday in Marion that sent one person to the hospital.

Marion Police say Jameson Gibbs should be considered armed and dangerous.

Around 8:10 p.m. Monday officers responded to the 1800 block of North State Street after a 9-1-1 caller reported someone had just been shot, according to Lt. Justin Dwyer.  The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive; their name has not been released.
