The Murphysboro Red Devils are taking advantage of the IHSA's new rules that allow 11-on-11 scrimmages this week. Voice of the Red Devils, Matt Varney, met with Coach Gary Carter Thursday evening before their first scrimmage with Marion and discussed the new 11-on-11 scrimmages and some of the new additions to the team that have Murphysboro excited for the coming season:
