The Carbondale City Council voted against renewing a liquor license for a cabaret located in the middle of town.

Monday night, the Council voted 4-3 against the renewal of a liquor license for The Pony.

The Pony has 18 days to appeal to the state. Until then, alcohol is still allowed to be served.
