NewsRadio WJPF is incredibly proud to partner with the City of Marion, IL Police department to form the K-9 Care Fund. The Fentanyl crisis, as well as the overwhelming toxicity of Fentanyl, pose a massive threat toward the Law Enforcement community, with accidental overdoses becoming a daily threat our officers, both human and otherwise, have to face in the line of duty.

By forming this fund, we hope to be able to supply local police departments with canine-friendly Narcan kits, as well as other materials that can mean the difference between life and death for our furry protectors in the line of duty. Our wish is that this campaign can help make a difference in our communities, and can help ensure that all of our police officers make it home safely, every time.
