MARION Ill. (WJPF) – A City of Marion employee has died after an accident at the Marion Street Department.

The fatal accident occurred yesterday morning around 9am and the name of the employee has not been released.

The Illinois State Police and Williamson County Coroner’s Office are handling the accident.
