On Wednesday, John A. Logan Softball third baseman Hannah Hackworth was named the NJCAA Player of the Week.  It marks the first time in John A. Logan Softball’s history that a player has earned the weekly honor.

Hackworth helped the Vols to an 8-0 week, batting .714 with six home runs, three doubles, and 18 runs batted in.

The Vols are 26-8 this season, 16-2 in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference, and have won 18 in a row.  They play Wabash Valley in Carterville Thursday at 2pm and 4pm.
