CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbondale man has been arrested on domestic battery and firearm charges.
Carbondale Police say Dakota Mitchell, 30, was arrested Sunday morning in the 1200 block of West College Street after reports of a domestic disturbance. Police say their investigation concluded that Mitchell hit another person and fired a handgun inside of the home.
Dakota Mitchell was taken to the Jackson County Jail on charges of aggravated domestic battery and reckless discharge of a firearm.
