A Murphysboro woman is wanted by police after leaving the scene of a crash.
Police responded to a report of a hit and run at the intersection of 22nd and Spruce Streets Sunday evening. Police say 24-year old Jennifer Steffens crashed into a minivan being driven by 64-year old Phillip Hindman of Murphysboro before leaving the area on foot.
The same vehicle was reported as hitting a parked car on Spruce Street.
A warrant has been requested for Steffens. Anyone with information about the location of Jennifer Steffens is encouraged to contact the Murphysboro Police Department at 618-684-2121.
