The Illinois Department of Transportation is advising motorists to use alternates routes when travelling on US 60/62 near Cairo.  The bridge over the Mississippi River between Illinois and Missouri will be closed for repairs on March 16, 2015. The closure is anticipated to be in place until March 18, 2016.
