The City of Carbondale is a finalist for a $25,000 grant. The city has applied for the funding with the hopes to upgrade the Eurma C. Hayes Center.

Community members are now voting daily for Carbondale online.

The money would go toward some of the center’s infrastructural needs, including automatic doors and new windows.
