A trial for a former Carterville band director accused of taking inappropriate pictures with his cellphone has been pushed back.

Todd Norrington was arrested last June for taking photos looking up a teen’s shorts at the Carbondale Goodwill store. Norrington quit his job at Carterville High School shortly after the arrest.

Norrington’s lawyers claim the statute under which he was arrested in unconstitutional. No new trial date has been set.
