SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WJPF) — Nearly half of all Illinois residents are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

As of Monday, IDPH reports 48% of Illinoisans have gotten the shot. 65% of Illinoisans have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

There are multiple opportunities Tuesday in southern Illinois to get vaccinated. The Jackson County Health Department will administer vaccines at their Murphysboro location from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Egyptian Health department will administer vaccines at their offices in Eldorado and Carmi from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department will administer vaccines at the Pavilion in Marion from 7:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
