A home in Williamson Co. has been deemed a total loss after a fire on yesterday morning.

The Lake of Egypt Fire Protection District was called regarding a house fire around 8:35 am, when a neighbor spotted the fire. No one was home at the time.

Firefighters were at the scene for approximately four hours.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
