A third candidate has jumped into the race for the Illinois Republican gubernatorial nomination.

Illinois businessman Gary Rabine announced his bid this week. He is focusing his campaign on reversing population decline by creating jobs, lowering property and quote, “serving families.”

Rabine joins a field with former state Sen. Paul Schimpf and state Sen. Darren Bailey. The primary is March 2022.
