A Wayne County man will spend more than a decade in prison after pleading guilty to stabbing a person and escaping from jail.
26-year old Donald Currier of Golden Gate pled guilty to both crimes yesterday. The stabbing charge stems from an August incident, while Currier was caught on camera with an accomplice escaping from the White County jail.
Currier was sentenced to 13 years behind bars. Currier will also have to pay $3000 to repair damage caused to the jail during the escape.
