Murphysboro began holding Open Gym for their basketball players on Thursday with contact days becoming available once again to the high-risk sport participants. The Herrin Tigers clinched a share of the SIRR Ohio Division conference championship on Tuesday night after a 25-16, 25-21 sweep of Murphysboro, improving to 7-0 in the Ohio Division. John Homan caught up with coach Karen Jurich, senior libero Kelsey Jurich, and junior Presli Karnes, who led the team in kills with 12, after the big win:
