A home in Marion has been deemed a total loss after a fire yesterday evening.

The fire started around 5 pm in the garage of a home owned by Free Methodist Church on Macomb Street.

Authorities don’t know what caused the fire, but are saying that no one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
