PERRY COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — The driver of a tractor-trailer is recovering from injuries suffered in a two vehicle crash in Perry County.
It happened at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Pyatt-Cutler Road and Cutler-Trico Road.
According to Illinois State Police, 25-year-old Levi Gall of Willisville was driving of Toyota Camry northbound on Cutler-Trico Road when she failed to stop at the stop sign.
Gall entered into the path of the Freightliner driven by 71-year-old Bernard Carver of Ava, causing the crash.
Carver was flown from the scene to a regional hospital. Gall declined medical treatment. She was cited for failure to stop at an intersection.
