PULASKI COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — An arrest has been made in the disappearance and death of a Normal, Illinois girl whose body was found last month in rural Pulaski County.

32-year-old James Merritt of Morehouse, Missouri has been charged with First Degree Murder, Trafficking for the Purpose of Sexual Exploitation, Armed Criminal Action, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

The body of 18-year-old Haley Decker was found March 26 in the Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge. She was reported missing on March 4.
