Rock veteran Jimmy DeGrasso has confirmed he will not be joining Ratt on tour, and he is no longer part of the heavy rock group. Frontman Stephen Pearcy recently told fans he and fellow original member, bassist Juan Croucier, would be hitting the road this summer with a “new breed” of Ratt, although he didn’t share full details on who would be joining the band onstage. That came after guitarist Warren DeMartini was reportedly dismissed from the group, prompting musician Carlos Cavazo to exit the band too. The revamped Ratt are due to kick off their tour in Kansas on Saturday, July 7. DeGrasso had previously been recruited as a replacement for longtime Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer, who had been embroiled in a bitter trademark battle with Pearcy in 2015 over the group’s name.
