A man who was reported missing on Sunday has been found dead.

Williamson County Coroner Junior Burke recovered the body of Robert Michael Boaz early Monday evening near Herrin Lake No. 2, after the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office was notified that Boaz had made threats to harm himself.

Boaz’s family had first went to look for Robert, but then soon after informed the Sheriff’s Office that he was missing.

Lake of Egypt Search and Rescue, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service assisted in the search for Boaz’s body.
