TAMMS, IL. (WJPF) — State Police are investigating the shooting death of woman in Tamms.

On Friday, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 call of a person being shot at a home.

At the scene, deputies found 48-year-old Stacy Carter-Gonzales dead from gunshot wounds.
