Murphysboro schools are in session, following a tentative agreement reached late Monday night between teachers and district officials.

Details of the agreement have not been announced. Teachers are scheduled to vote on the new proposal at a meeting scheduled at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Teachers have been working this school year without a contract.
