A Williamson County man is dead after sustaining a fall of roughly 60 feet at Ferne Clyffe State Park.

A press release from the Williamson County Coroner’s Office states that 22-year-old Charles Gill lost his footing while standing near a waterfall in the park Sunday.

After his fall, which was witnessed by members of his family, Gill was taken to heartland Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
