A Murphysboro man has pleaded guilty to child pornography and sexual assault charges.

67-year-old Paul Blaney is accused of having sex with a child under the age of thirteen and videotaping a child he knew to be under 13 engaged in sexual conduct.

He was arrested in December of last year.

He could face up to 120 years in prison. He will not be eligible for parole.
