I-DOT crews plan to tear out a piece of Route 127 south of Alto Pass today, after flooding made the pavement crack and sink.

The highway has been closed – but some drivers have been caught driving around the barricades.

Union County deputies say they are writing $120 tickets to anyone caught driving around them.
