Murphysboro High School students will return to class today after evacuating the school Thursday afternoon due to a bomb threat.

The threat came into the school at about 1:00 PM. Students and staff were quickly evacuated and emergency responders were able to search the building.

No bomb was found at the school.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
